Applications

We developed our first Hunt & Mitton valve for hazardous chemicals back in 1950s in collaboration with
the Imperial Chemical Company (ICI) in the UK. Our expertise in the design and material choices have
continued over many years and today our products are used by many of the world’s premier chemical
companies in Europe, Middle East, Asia and America. Our valves are used on extremely hazardous
chemicals such as:

Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Anhydrous Hydrogen Flouride, Phosgene, Anhydrous Hydrogen Chloride,
Ethylene DiChloride, Vinyl Chloride Monomer, Liquid Amonia, Hydrogen Cyanide, Titanium
Terachloride and others.

Hunt and Mitton:

Hunt & Mitton has a long history of producing valves for hazardous chemicals dating back to the 1950s. We believe that better design, material choices and attention to detail in manufacture, equates to a lower cost of ownership for our customers.
